i did a post earlier, but i'm bored now and figured i could knock out a few more questions. the first few were a little more sexually oriented and i figured i should balance that out with some light hearted questions and maybe some thought provoking ones, because i'm not all about sex. i haven't had sex in thirty days so i think someone should buy me a drink to celebrate(i don't drink but i love mountain dew).

from shots
if u could be another race would u?
i wouldn't want to be another race. i'm glad i'm black and not the stereotypical one at that. but i wouldn't mind being biracial maybe that mix would make my skin lighter so i could finally get a white ink tattoo.
if the world was gonna end but you could save 5 ppl, who would those 5 be?
i'm gonna assume that i'm not included in these five people that i can save. so i would have probably save
  • my mom
  • my OB
  • britney spears
  • taeyang
  • the smartest person in the world
i would save my mom because she's my mom. and no matter how much i don't like her i still lover her unconditionally. i would save my OB because i woulld need someone to vent to and someone who can keep me in check. i would save britney spears because she fuckin britney. plus we would have to repopulate the world somehow and she seems to be very fertile. i was torn between her and octomom, but britney won out. taeyang is for the OB, bu ti also like eye candy. and the smartest person in the world for the simple fact that he/she should know how to restart the world if it should end.

how many kids, boys/girls would u like to have one day?
for some reason i really wanna have eight kids. i don't really care how many boys or girls i have, but i really want eight. J and Jay plus 8 for the win!!!

would u rather lose ur taste buds or loose ur sense of smell?
i would rather lose my sense of smell. life isn't worth living if i can't taste my avorite foods. the sense of smell would be the first thing i would give up. next would be touch, then the ability to hear, then taste, and sight would be last.

if u could be in any movie, wut movie would u be?
i would have to be in some Quentin Tarantino movie. I just love anything he does and he's the reason i decided when i was thirteen that i wanted to become a director one day.

would u be a drag queen for a night and perform for a crowd if u got paid $300?
that seems a little cheap so i would say no.

if u had to get a tattoo, wut would it be of and where would u get it?
i would get the tattoo on my left had wrist. i've said this since i was eleven that i wanted a tattoo on my left hand wrist, but i still don't know what. i've thought about several things and even designed a few pieces and the ones that keep popping up revolve around 11:11 or a film strip of some sort.

meet britney spears and spend a whole day with her or win $5,000?
i thought about this for a long time since i saw you asked the question and i think i would have to spend the day with britney. that day would last longer than the the money.

if u can bring Danity Kane back together would u? and wut would u change about them this time? ex. give one singer more lines or less lines or tell one singer not be such an attention whore

if i could i would definately bring them back together. aubrey is not an attention whore and i don't think she's the reason they broke up. the only thing i would change is the fact that they were signed to bad boy. had they been on any other label they would still be together right now churning out great albums. danity kane was too much of a success to just be disbanded.

currently listening to Sucka 4 Love by Danity Kane

childhood 101

this is why i love hulu, because they put random things up on there. its five in the morning but i refuse to go to sleep without watching this. this is my whole childhood defined in one movie. damn i miss being seven years old again. i use to have this on VHS and then the little brother was born and ripped the film strip out of the VHS. at least now i have hulu so i can watch it over and over and over.

prepare to be served

My childhood in one word. EPIC! cloudy with a chance of meatballs AND where the wild things are! I mean it just doesn't get any better than that. Now all I need is "The Giving Tree" to be made into a movie and my life will be complete.

Had to post this just for the simple fact Kristen Bell is in it and we all know how I feel about her. I mean first she was Veronica Mars then Elle from Heroes, and then Sarah Marshall. How can you not like her, unfortunately she's nowhere to be found in the trailer.

Probably my favorite song that has been on constant replay in between the Dream and Keri Hilson's new cds.

I'm not a fan of the original but he makes the verses more bearable, and I get more of what I liked in the chorus from this acoustic version. And to think it only took Rick blasting Girls Aloud for two hours to get me to understand that their not that bad.

hi world

Hello world. This is another meaningless post. Basically my life has no meaning now, but I'm working on that. School is just around the corner so that should be exciting. I'm just bored and have nothing to do. So I want to write where I'm at now.

I haven't really had any urges to jerk off as of late. I haven't had sex since December and haven't played with the guy for at least a week. I don't know why. Just haven't really felt the need or had the energy. Does this make me asexual now or have I finally got my problem under control. I haven't even visited any of my usual online sites to see if any guys have left me a message. Guess I've finally put that energy into something useful.

I've been photoshopping and writing heavily lately. I think I'm getting pretty good too. I've also been listening to a lot of music and watching tv and movies. I'm currently up to season 3 with Charmed, caught up with all my guilty pleasure shows; ie Gossip Girl, 90210, One Tree Hill, and I just finished watching The Women.

Theres really not much to say about it. It was good, nothing extroadinary. Just good. My favorite scene was the last one of the movie when Debra Messing's character is having a baby. It might just be because love her. Hated her in Will and Grace, but loved her in everything she's done afterwards. I also liked how they drastically played out the showing of the only male in the movie. The baby. I understand what they were trying to do the whole time, but I felt not atleast showing the cheating husband kinda, sorta hurt the movie. But it was still good. Just not worth 7.50 of my hard found money.

Back to the music. I've found some really interesting music this week. Oracular Spectacular for one, but I've also rediscovered some music. Something in me wanted to reconnect with my youth. Guess everything was easier then. So I went and downloaded all my teeny bobber music, but just the core. Britney, Christina, NSYNC, and Backstreet. Never was a fan of any of those copy catters. I'm talking to you 98, Mandy, LFO, Jessica, but Take My Breath Away was my jam for a few days. I think I was in love with K for the first time when it hit.

But by downloading all of that music I realized something. Britney is really the shit. I mean of the four all of her music really stands the test of time. I think NSYNC got worse over time. The only good songs on Celebrity was "Gone," "Pop" just doesn't stand the test of time. Backstreet was great then, and they still are. I must say I like the music better now than then, but it still doesn't compare to Britney.

Christina's music is just whatever works at the moment. I guess thats why I never liked her too much. First she was this all innocent genie that I could rock with. Then she went and discovered her spanish roots and I was confused, but didn't care. Christmas albums are eh and then she came back and was all "that first album wasn't me, I did what I was told, but this is who I really am." I gave her a real chance and I fell in love with everything Stripped. I was like okay, so at heart you're a little dirrty whore, who has a soft side. That was cool with me, and then she disappeared for a while and came back as a whole new person again.

I can understand needing to reshape your image so consumers aren't bored, but can you please stop doing drastic shifts. I never fully understood the whole 40s, 50s, 60s Christina but "Aint No Other Man" was a nice track but everything else was garbage sans "Still Dirrty" ofcourse. And now she's this futuristic chick. Too bad Lady GaGa does it better.

Which brings me to Britney. She's always been the one that I paid the most attention to and I feel she's the best. I've enjoyed all her albums and she still delivers hit albums. I think her image has evolved as she's gotten older and the most dramatic shift she made was bleaching her hair blonde. The only thing I can say negative is I use to love the "Britney" album, but after today I think its the worst of the bunch while In The Zone has to be amongst her best work.

Okay this was longer than I expected, but I'm not sleepy and I kinda look like a werewolf. Gotta get a new haircut today. The last one was during Thanksgiving, but my hair stops growing after a while. Strange huh.

A new layout will be up sometime tomorrow. Im tired of the black and a new header so I'm working on something now. Most of it will be up by nightfall, but little tweaks will be added whenever I get them figured out.

I guess thats it for tonight, well morning.

curious case

Today has been another slow, relaxing day of nothingness. I caught the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and finally understand why women and some men swoon over him. They're was this was shot when him and his wife were just doing what married people do in their duplex without furniture and it just made me fall in love with him. I've never found him sexy before, but in that moment I understood. I have to find a picture of it to share.

The movie was great, but for me Taraji P. Henson stole the movie. I'm just glad that she's finally gotten out of that whole "black comedy" stage and is now doing more serious roles. From this to her roles in Cadillac Records, Jamie Foxx's new video, and guest starring role on Eli Stone I'm really excited to see what she does next.

I also discovered MGMT today and Oracular Spectacular has been on constant repeat in my down time. Great album, everybody should go pick it up.

But on a side note I'm starting to hate my new roommate before I even meet him. He's going to the Britney Spears "Circus" concert when it hits Atlanta in March.

So.

Not.

Fair.

life just got a whole lot better

I don't know what just happened, but something just hit me. I've been working on a movie script over the break. I've laid the foundation and now just have to come up with the details and some meaningful words, but it just hit me. I'm going in the completely wrong direction.

The movie I was making is completely wrong for the world right now. It was all about this confused college boy who just told his girlfriend he loved her and they finally had sex in an art gallery where she surprised him with all his artwork being displayed. Then out of no where here comes his college professor who comes in his life and flips it upside down.

The guy is basically alone and he feels everyone leaves him so when the professor shows up he basically falls for this guy and thus begins the end of the main characters life. Eventually all the shit hits the fan, the guy loses his girlfriend, catches the professor fucking his best friend, pushes his brother away, and tries to take his life but someone finds him before its over.

It would never be made and would work better as a book. In my mind it was someone between a Cruel Intentions and a Brokeback Mountain but for now I'm putting it on the back burner and moving forward with the idea that just came to me. I don't know why, but I really feel that I will do something big this year.

I guess you really do get better with age.

seven pounds

When it comes to movies few have made me cry.
  • the Lion King, when I finally realized Moufassa was dead
  • Hard Ball, when they shot Baby in a drive by
  • Finding Nemo, when everyone died except for Nemo and his dad Marlin
And now Seven Pounds. There was just this moment where everything clicked in my head and it just felt like a moment to cry. Seven Pounds is a great movie and is now my favorite Will Smith movie. I loved everything about this movie and recommend it for everyone.

I'm usually not a fan of quiet movies or shows(movies or shows that dont constantly have background noises or music happening during the scene) but this one is an exception. I even liked how they paced the movie. It started from the end, but they didn't tell you that. And his dreams/nightmares were placed in the right spot.

Movies like this are always my favorite. I guess I like having those "damn I know what happens next" moments. Now if I can only get through the 2 hours and 43 minutes of Benjamin Button, my day would be complete.

its started

Its started and I missed the first airing of it. Guess I have the rest of the night and all of tomorrow to see it. And I still haven't received my BB gun, but I do have my leg lamp.

tropic thunder

Its around 1 o'clock and today is officially the last day of classes for. In a little over 13 hours I will be taking my music final followed by my portuguese final at 7. Its almost over and I feel like it just started. I mean over the last three days of preparing for finals I've managed to make two more friends.

It was weird how it happened, but I guess thats the story of my life. Since my microwave broke I've had to use the one in the kitchen on my floor and everytime I go in there, its always these same two girls studying. So I guess the small time I spend in there led to us laughing and joking about what everybody eats. I'm gonna miss them over the break and I just learned their names tonight and they can cook. So its kinda a bittersweet feeling.

But the main reason for this post is I just finished watching Tropic Thunder. I went into it expecting it to be just an average action comedy, but its way better than I expected. The ending is one of the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Maybe I should finally watch Pineapple Express and stop putting it off like I did with Tropic Thunder(watched the first 20 minutes two weeks ago).

I guess what made me smile the most was when Al Pacino turned out to be gay. I wasn't expecting it until right before it was revealed. It was a nice surprise I can't tell you the last time I saw a black character that was gay.
